Slovak industrial metal band King of Synthos release their album Libertas Populi on 31 October 2026 through Discomort Studios.
Libertas Populi is an eleven-track album combining heavy guitars, electronic production and Slovak lyrics, drawing on industrial metal, Neue Deutsche Härte and electronic metal. It includes the singles Aréna (2024) and Lovec (2026).
According to the band, the album is the most complete statement yet of the direction King of Synthos has arrived at.

Slovak industrial metal band combining heavy guitars, electronic production and Slovak lyrics.
King of Synthos is a metal band from Slovakia. Its music combines Neue Deutsche Härte and industrial-metal influences with electronic elements and Slovak-language lyrics.
The band grew out of a duo started by guitarist Lord Discomort and drummer Pán Optikum after they left the band Friday Whiskey; in 2021 the duo developed into King of Synthos. The name is a tribute to the animated series Regular Show — it started as an in-joke and stayed.
On stage King of Synthos is a three-piece: vocals, guitar and drums are played live, while bass and synthesizer parts play from synchronized backing tracks. The show uses digital production and programmed lighting and is being developed into an audiovisual performance.
